About The Hive

Frodsham Bee Friends has been working to reduce social isolation and the impact that this has on an individual’s health and wellbeing, since 2022. We started small, but now over 70 people regularly attend our weekly coffee mornings at the Parish Hall in Frodsham, and even more attend our monthly soup lunches

From the beginning of April 2026, Bee Friends’ mission of “creating networks, making connections, and bringing people together” entered a new stage with the Hive, and our shared vision to be a warm and inclusive haven that brings social benefit by providing a welcoming space with opportunities for connection, creativity and wellbeing.

The Hive is a CIC, a Community Interest Company, and the 5 Directors who are all part of the Bee Friends Steering Group are responsible for its strategic development. The operational day to day running of the Hive is the responsibility of the café manager who reports back to the Directors.
