The Hive Cheshire is proud to have taken over the much-loved cafe, continuing its tradition as a welcoming place at the heart of Helsby.

While there is a new name and a new vision, you’ll still be greeted by the same friendly faces behind the counter, serving the home-made food, cakes and warm hospitality that so many of our customers know and love.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), our mission is simple: to create a welcoming space where great food, friendship and community come together. Every visit helps support our work within the local community, making The Hive more than just a cafe – it’s a place where everyone belongs.

Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, afternoon tea or simply a friendly chat, you’ll always receive a warm welcome. We are open from 10am until 4pm, from Tuesday to Saturday.
