Changes are afoot at the JTO Old Bank Vintage Tea room in Helsby!

From the beginning of April 2026, Bee Friends’ mission of “creating networks, making connections, and bringing people together” will enter a new stage. Working in close partnership with the Vintage Tea Rooms in Helsby and building on existing successes elsewhere in Helsby and Frodsham, this exciting project is the next stage in Bee Friends’ aim to provide warm and inclusive meeting-places that are accessible and responsive to the needs of the local community. 

Our shared vision for “The Hive” at the Vintage Tea Rooms is to be a warm and inclusive haven that brings social benefit by providing a welcoming space with opportunities for connection, creativity and wellbeing. The Tea Room will be the responsibility of the newly appointed manager and will continue to run as it does so well, as a friendly and welcoming coffee shop. However, when not open as a café, we hope that the community will become involved and make use of this very special space for the benefit of all. We will continue to create networks, make connections, and bring people together.

Watch this space to see the next developments in our exciting journey. But until then, the usual delicious food, great drinks and that very special welcome will all be available as usual.
